WALTERS RETURNS TO FACE TOUGHEST CHALLENGE OF HIS CAREER

Andy Kolle Will Return to the Twin Ports to Face a Former 'Contender' Star

Fond-du-Luth Casino and Benna Ford/Saleen present 'Playing for Keeps'

Twin Ports fight fans have come to expect great action when it comes to the live professional boxing they're seeing. What they probably don't expect is to see a card in which both 'The Jungle Boy' Zach Walters and Andy 'Kaos' Kolle face the toughest competition of their careers. That's exactly what they'll get on June 7th when  Walters and Kolle return to the ring in Superior, Wisconsin.

Walters, fresh off defeating former world champion Carl Daniels to claim the WBC-ABU light heavyweight championship, will face world light heavyweight contender Rubin Williams of Detroit, Michigan. Williams, who boasts a record of 29-4 with 16 knockouts, has been in the ring with some of the best fighters in the world and will be the toughest opponent yet for Walters, who is now ranked number 21 in the world by the World Boxing Council. If Walters can come out of this fight victorious it will undoubtedly be another sign that he is ready to step onto the world stage.

Andy Kolle, who is coming off his career best victory over in-state rival Matt 'The Predator' Vanda, will be trying to capitalize on that momentum when he faces former season one star of 'The Contender' reality show Jonathan 'Reid Dawg' Reid. Kolle, whose dominant performance against Vanda earned him a unanimous eight round decision, will be fighting his first ten rounder.

Horton's Gym Promotions has also stepped up the undercard significantly as their up-and-coming fighters will be facing their toughest tests to date as well. In his Twin Ports debut, Tim Taggert will be facing Alton Bear of Rapid City, South Dakota. RJ Laase will be putting his undefeated record on the line as he faced the tough welterweight Cheyenne Ziegler. Crowd favorite Gary Eyer will once again surely entertain the fans as he goes up against the very game Mike Davis of Belcourt, ND. With the current lineup intact this card promises to be the best that the Twin Ports fight fans have seen to date.

Tickets for the event, which will take place at the Wessman Arena on the UW-Superior campus on June 7th, can be purchased at Benna Ford, Roush, Saleen -Superior, WI, Fond-du-Luth Casino-Duluth, MN, Runway Bar-Hermantown, MN, and online at www.hortonsgym.com. Limited VIP tables available by calling 310-5200. Due to the quality of the card, another sold out show is expected. More information will follow in the coming weeks.
