TRASH TALKING ON N.E. RINGSIDE RADIO SHOW: RUIZ, STONEY AND TONEY |

Some down and dirty trash talking will be
going over the airwaves Thursday night (6-8 PM ET) on the New England Ringside
Radio Show because this week’s guests are April 30th combatants,
WBA heavyweight champion John “The Quietman” Ruiz and challenger James “Lights
Out” Toney, along with Ruiz’ always fiery manager Norman “Stoney” Stone, live
on WWZN 1510 The Zone.
Ruiz-Toney will be fought at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Ruiz (45-5-1, 28 KOs), the first and only Hispanic heavyweight champion, feels an impressive victory against Toney finally will give him the respect he deserves in addition to increasing his popularity and forcing a showdown against one of the other heavyweight champions later this year.
Toney (68-4-2, 43), one of boxing’s most outspoken and controversial figures, is a three-time world champion in three different divisions -- middleweight, super middleweight and cruiserweight. “Lights Out” has only had two fights as a heavyweight, but he’s 10-1-1 in world title fights.
“Stoney” and Toney already had to be restrained at the recent New York City press conference announcing the fight. Their volatile personalities promise fireworks as well as a test for the station’s seven-second delay button. New England Ringside also hosts a popular web site, publishes a monthly magazine, and owns Fightography (sells classic boxing pictures).
