Cincinnati, the home of fighting legends such as Ezzard Charles
and ‘The Hawk’ Aaron Pryor, will debut another couple of local
fighters this week. Saturday night, May 31
st will
be a great night in Cincinnati boxing history as the Pro-Am
Box Off takes place. The Hyatt Regency will host the event.
Adrien Broner and Brandon Bennett, both Cincinnati fighters
will make their pro debuts on this historic night. Broner will be making his debut in the lightweight division
against Allante Davis from Milwaukee, while
junior lightweight
Brandon Bennett will make his pro debut against another
Milwaukee
fighter, David Warren Huffman, (pro debut).
Fighting in the cruiserweight division will
be Cincinnati's own Ravea Springs, (28-3-0, 22 KO’s). Springs
will square off against Theo Kruger (8-6-0,
2 KOs) from Ft. Meyers, Florida.
Cincinnati Super Middleweight Rob Dula (15-2-1, 8
KOs) will face Aundalen Sloan (6-23-2, 3 KO’S) from Milwaukee.
Promoter Andrew Williams is hoping to bring
more pro shows to downtown Cincinnati.
The fights are put on by R&R Promotions.
