Promoter Bobby Bostick has told us that David Estrada was released from the hospital this morning and is on his way home surrounded by family members and friends.

 

Mr. Bostick and members of his staff went to the hospital after the fights and stayed with the Estrada family until the wee hours of the morning.

 

The young promoter informed us he had breakfast with the Estradas this morning, and he let David know he could fight on his card anytime.

 

'He is a warrior,' said Bostick, 'and they put on a terrific show last night.' Bob went on to say, 'David is going to be fine."

 

Through Mr. Bostick we also learned that Kermit Cintron went to the hospital last night as well, to get the cut over his eye taken care of. It was a nasty gash that cutman Norman Wilson handled very well and in no way interfered with Kermit's performance in the ring , but in the end it did require several stitches.

 

We are very relieved to hear both fighters are doing well.
