Over a month ago we polled our Facebook readers asking who they thought would win the upcoming Miguel Cotto - Manny Pacquiao fight. At the time 54% of our readers picked Pacman to win the fight while 46% stood behind Miguel Cotto. None of this was a surprise as Pacquiao has been picked as the favorite to win the fight since the contracts were signed. Manny may have put his underdog days behind him with the destruction of Oscar de la Hoya and Ricky Hatton. I will be very curious how Vegas odds makers will have the Pacquiao Mayweather fight if it ever happens.

A few weeks following that poll we once again asked our readers who they were picking in this weekend's fight, this time adding the question, "how do you think the fight will end? 100% of those who took the poll believe the fight will end by KO or TKO. 61% have Manny winning early while 39% believe  Cotto will win in the same manner. As the fight draws closer more and more people seemed to be backing Manny Pacquiao to win. Fight predictions and odds almost always change as fight night nears; in this case it appeared more people were making the switch to the Filipino superstar.

In our newest poll taken this week the percentages have changed once again. Surprisingly, the percentages for a Manny Pacquiao win have gotten smaller. 53% of the readers who took the poll still pick Manny to win while 47% are now going with Miguel Cotto. Why predictions change as much as they do? I don't know, I don't have the answer. But in my opinion many may have been influenced by what they have read or seen on T.V. about this mega fight. My prediction has stayed the same throughout and I will not be switching my pick at the last minute like so many others have.

Manny Pacquiao wins by TKO in the ninth or tenth round.
