decision over Marco Antonio Barrera (63-6, 42 KOs). The official scores went

champion after scoring a unanimous decision over Antonio
Davis, (24-4, 12 KOs). The officials rendered clear cut
scores of 118-109 and 119-108 twice for the 26-year-old
defending champion.
