Mayorga wore his Sunday's best
to Thursday's press conference in New York. Mayweather Sr. (R) wore red
while Oscar is really seeing red. Hopkins, who has staged a few shows of
his own, seems amused at Mayorga's ridiculous antics. Don King seems
bewildered and this fight needs no more hype. Word has it that Mayorga
must have a death wish...
In New York City today Mayorga told a pro-Oscar crowd, "I know you guys
love de la Hoya a lot. I love him too, so much so that on May 6th I am
going to send him back to you in a body bag. He has disrespected me by
saying he is going to fight in September, he doesn't know that on May
6th he may lose his life."

Don King calls for a truce, Oscar wants quiet, Hopkins seems to be
enjoying the chaos as Carl King seems to be trying to figure out how

Oscar did his best to keep his anger in check, and his only response to
Mayorga's on-going tirade was, 'I am going to knock you out come May
6th, I am going to knock you out, you'll see."
