Ten Rounds, Seven Round Edition

Round 1: Manny Pacquiao may be the biggest star in boxing and has taken on nearly everyone in his weight class or above. So I ask why fight Antonio Margarito?  Pacquiao has had plenty of accusations thrown his way in the past year regarding the use of PED but nothing has ever been proven. Margarito, on the other hand, is a cheater who was literally caught red handed. I will NOT be buying this fight and doubt I'll watch the replay. I will not give Margarito my time -or money- and I hope many of you feel the same way. If Margarito can pull off the upset it will put him back in the spotlight which is a place where he never deserves to be again. And shame on any United States Boxing Commission that will sanction this fight.

Round 2: Juan Diaz and Juan Manuel Marquez fought one hell of a fight in 2009; so good in fact they had to do it again last weekend. For the second time Marquez's hand was raised in victory and his name was once again thrown into the list of P4P contenders. But the question is, who does he fight next? I'm sure he would love a third fight against Manny Pacquiao but how many of you want to see it? The only name most people want to see in line to fight Manny is Floyd Mayweather and who knows if we'll ever get to see that. Write in and let us know who you would like to see Marquez fight next.

Round 3: Every time Dana White talks about boxing it always starts out as him saying I love boxing and then it's followed by a trashing the sport. I understand he has a business to run but if boxing is a dying sport like he always says, why does he feel so threatened by it? Why does he feel the need to constantly bad mouth it? Boxing and the UFC will continue to survive and both will continue to make plenty of money. I don't understand the war that has been going on between the two sports and I never will. Why can't people just enjoy them both and leave it at that?

Round 4: The September match between Shane Mosley and Sergio Mora will answer a few questions for the boxing fans. We'll get to see how much Mosley has left after the Mayweather fight and we'll get to see if Mora is the real deal or not. The winner will get thrown into a top spot and find them self in a big fight. Who do you like?

Round 5: Sam Peter is getting a second crack at Wladimir Klitschko on September 11th. Is anyone excited? The Heavyweight division has been dull for some time and the fact is Sam Peter may be the toughest fight for either Klitschko brother. The truth is the only fight above 200 pounds I would like to see is Klitschko vs Klitschko but we'll never see that happen.

Round 6: Why doesn't light heavyweight contender Tavoris Cloud generate any buzz? The kid is the real deal and packs a hell of a punch. If he gets past Glen Johnson this weekend and I think he will I would love to see him in the ring against Chad Dawson. The light heavy division isn't exactly spilling over with talent the good fights are slim pickings. How do feel about a possible match with Cloud and Dawson?

Round 7: Rumor has it Floyd Mayweather and Don King may be teaming up. It's been a while since Don King was a major player in the boxing world and joining up with Money Mayweather can't help. But the real question is who does it benefit more Money May or DK? And just how long will this partner last? These are two men that LOVE money so will they be able to play nice if it starts rolling in or will greed over come them?

I would love to hear any feedback or questions so feel free to write in at iamsaeatogamist@aol.com
