MAYWEATHER AND HATTON PICK WINNER
OF SATURDAY NIGHT'S
MEGA-FIGHT BETWEEN MIGUEL COTTO AND SHANE MOSLEY
SATURDAY AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN
LIVE ON HBO PAY-PER-VIEW
With "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather and Ricky "The
Hitman" Hatton heavily entrenched in preparations for their own
welterweight championship showdown December 8, both undefeated
fighters took the time to weigh in on the welterweight
mega-contest between their division rivals Miguel Cotto and
Sugar Shane Mosley this Saturday, November 10th at
the "Mecca of Boxing," Madison Square Garden. The 12-round world
welterweight title fight will be produced and distributed live
by HBO Pay-Per-View, beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
Mayweather, 38-0 (24 KOs), is the reigning world and Ring
Magazine welterweight champion. Considered the pound-for-pound
best in the sport today, he expects a Mosley victory.
"I see it as an easy fight for Shane and I predict an early KO,"
Mayweather predicted.
Hatton, 43-0 (31 KOs), a multi-division champion and universally
recognized world junior welterweight champion, agreed with his
upcoming opponent.
"
I think Shane Mosley will win because he will cause Cotto
problems with his speed and movement. Last time out, Cotto
looked strong but didn't carry the same finesse at welterweight
as in previous fights. He looked a little crude against
Judah. Cotto will need more finesse against Mosley."
