Jerson Ravelo (17-2, 12 KOs) twice in round eight prompting a referee's
stoppage at 2:24. Referee Joey Lupino waved it off at 2:24 after a huge
Green right hurt Ravelo to the body.

This Saturday night the boxing action is clear and
present, with perhaps the most compelling and
competitive match up being undefeated Allan Green
(22-0, 15 KO’s) going up against Dominican native
Jerson Ravelo (17-1, 12 KO’s). The two talented Super
Middleweights collide at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode
Island and it is a fight that will likely determine the future of each man.

It wasn't even close... The cream rises to the top... Peter Manfredo Jr.
took apart the bigger but less skilled Joey Spina. The bout was stopped in
the third round after a game but outclassed Spina got up from a knockdown
but took a vicious right hand that prompted the towel to come in from his
corner.
Since Peter
Manfredo Jr. received his 15 minutes of fame his
career has been on the rise. Despite losing in the
“Contender” finale he managed to win over many fans
and to develop a strong loyal following in his home
state of Rhode Island. Joey Spina and his undefeated
record will try to put an end to Manfredo’s recent
good fortune, which is presently at its climax after he managed to impressively
defeat Scott Pemberton.

Providence' out, right in the middle of the ring, in
our hometown."
