A TRAINER'S CORNER: 'THE 6 O'CLOCK RULE' ... by Ricky Ray Taylor
Health issues aside, (don't ever talk "danger" to boxers, they simply won't buy it),  if  fighters know for CERTAIN that they won't be at their BEST if they have to sweat off 2 pounds before their fight then they will be MUCH more apt to pay attention to an alternative suggestion for shedding weight.

THE SEARCH FOR HEAVYWEIGHT SUPREMACY CONTINUES: YOUNG GUNS AND O.P.'S (PART II) ... by Stephen Jones
Where do I look now for my new revolutionary Heavyweight savior?  Our answer may lie in the O.P. category, "Other Possibilities."

THE SEARCH FOR HEAVYWEIGHT SUPREMACY CONTINUES: THE BELT HOLDERS (PART I)... by Stephen Jones
Since the departure of the last dominant Heavyweight King Lennox Lewis, we have been fed a diet of fights for leather and brass waist-wear that carry as much weight as a geriatric power-lifter.

WHAT'S GOING ON IN AUSTRALIAN BOXING!... by Darren Yates, from Down Under
Just when I thought it was a bit strange for a few Aussie fighters not to be getting the short end of the stick, the politics of world boxing reveal themselves from the shadows like a Sith Lord from Star Wars!

REMEMBERING LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION PADDY DE MARCO... by George Elsasser
Paddy DeMarco was born in Brooklyn, USA and called the Navy Yard section  home … and his claim to fame was the proverbial 15 minutes variety when on March 5, 1954 he won the lightweight bauble via 15 round decision over defending champion Jimmy Carter.

TAMI MAURIELLO - ONE TOUGH HOMBRE... by George Elsasser
Chances are you drop the name Tami Mauriello amongst a gathering of today fight fans and it likely wouldn’t create much of a stir … that is, until you go to BoxRec.com and request the résumé - tough guy doesn’t come close.

DON'T BOTHER COMING... by Aladdin Freeman
Having just watched the Daniel Santos vs. Antonio Margarito fight I was, and still am, a little shocked by the public's acceptance of what was allowed to transpire during this fight.

WEEKEND PREDICTIONS: COTTO AND MARGARITO... by Tom Dickey
I will attempt to stay undefeated this week by picking two tough fights. I got off to a good start last week, as I was right about Cory Spinks winning a unanimous decision. In the other big fight, I get credited with an undeserving win.

IS HBO KILLING THE GOOSE THAT LAID THE GOLDEN  EGG?
“HBO is misguided if they think they are better at promoting than Don King. They should leave the promotion to the promoters and focus their energies on providing the best telecast for their viewers, period.”

SEYMOUR'S MOMENT OF TRUTH... AND MORE... by George Elsasser
Delete as an advantage any reference to one fighter having beaten another as amateurs. The duel as youngsters, and wearing protective headgear and oversize mittens while battling over three rounds duration, has zero relativity to a ten or twelve rounder carrying "championship rounds."
