JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ BATTERS ROCKY JUAREZ... by George Elsasser
Early on we see commission hack medicine man visiting the Juarez corner and informing house idiot in charge referee “Bobby” - and ain’t that a cute name for a senior citizen- Ferrara to let the carnage continue.
Marquez quickly targets the wounded orbit, and to interested observers among the paying clientele at ringside, a taken vote would have been a resounding no-mas!
But not the case with the medicine man, referee, and for shame the alleged Juarez brain trust - from manager, cut man, to alleged trainer - more qualified as cheerleader turned trainer Ronnie Shields, could see a lost cause staring them in the face.
