The highly tauted Latin Fury card seemed to lack the fury that was announced during the weeks leading up to the event.

In the main bout of the night Juan Manuel Lopez (26-0, 24 KOs) from Caguas, Puerto Rico nearly ended his knockout streak against Olivier Lontchi (18-1-2, 8 KOs) in a twelve round title defense. Lontchi did not go away easily, despite being knocked down in the second and ninth rounds before quitting in his stool from all the punishment Juanma laid on him throughout the fight. Lontchi scored with his right hand, at times hitting JuanMa flush, but he didn’t pack enough power to gain the Puerto Rican’s respect. JuanMa didn’t show the poise he showed when he took out Gerry Penalosa in 10 rounds. Lopez seemed anxious and frustrated at times trying to take out Lontchi early but his opponent, who was also undefeated, was not going out that easily.

The co-main event signaled the return of the one they call “Travieso,” three division champ Jorge Arce (52-5-1, 40 KOs) who took on Filipino Fernando Lumacad (18-2-2, 7 KOs). Arce, who was coming back from a loss to Vic Darchinyan, knocked out Lumacad from a right to the body. Lumacad didn't seem to have any interest in getting up.

Yuri Forman (27-0, 8 KOs) went three rounds with Cornelius Bundrage (29-4, 17 KOs) before being cut in the third round from an accidental head butt. The fight was ruled a no decision claiming the the cut was too severe for Yuri to continue.

Armenian Vanes Matirosyan (25-0, 16 KOs) outclassed and punished Andrey Tsurkan (26-5, 17 KOs) for 6 rounds giving the ringside doctor a reason to stop the fight. Vanes was just too quick and powerful for Tsurkan who never got off in the fight.

Former world title challenger Mario Santiago (20-1-1, 14 KOs) out pointed Gilbert Sanchez-Leon (21-6-2, 7 KOs) over eight rounds in a featherweight bout. Scores were 78-74, 79-71, 77-74.

The 2008 Russian Olympian middleweight Matt Korero (7-0, 6 KOs) scored a first round knockout against an over matched Benjamin Diaz (9-3-2, 6 KOs), who went down twice, first from a jab that barely touched him and later from a left to the body that he never got up from.

6' 6" cruiserweight Carlos Negron moved to 3-0, 3 KOs after running over Kenneth George, (9-3-1, 1 KO) in 78 seconds.

Super lightweight Michael Torres, (12-0, 7 KOs), won every round against Umberto Tapia, (13-10-1, 7 KOs)> Scores were 60-54 all.

Super lightweight Jeremy Bryan (11-0, 4 KOs) out-pointed Josh Beeman, (4-3-2, 2 KOs) over six rounds, by scores of 60-53, 60-54 and 59-55.
