WILLIAMS STOPS LEVIN IN EIGHT

By George J. Elsasser

Last nite's Sho-Box heavyweight twin bill featured the on and off again Jeremy Williams facing Sweden's Attila "The Hun" Levin in the main event.

Williams did the usual ... opening bell and it is tora, tora, tora ... not the rat-tat-tat in numbers he once did as a young prospect ... more a semi-automatic in the punch output at a now age 31 and with 45 visits to the office.

And Attila you ask? Big at 6' 5" and 243 lbs ... heavily tattooed ... enuf so that were he strolling them beaches over in Europe during the late 1930's he'd likely be a lampshade today ... but what he's never going to be is a legit heavyweight.

Calls himself  "The Hun" ... believe Williams would agree "The Hon" is more appropriate ... managed to frustrate Jeremy at times with the defense ... a hit on the break in round seven cost Williams the shutout he had tossed thru six stanzas.

Both fighters cut around respective left eye ... was them heads clashing while Williams worked the inside ... a game that Attila had no prior knowledge of.

Mismatch halted in candle eight by ringside physician at 2:48 mark ... didn't like the answer "two" when asking how many fingers while waving a single digit in "The Hun's" face.

Post Scripts: Jeremy Williams ~ With proper advertising and good selections in the dance partners, there's still some mileage on the odometer ... have never seen this guy show up flat ... win, lose, draw he is tough cookie over early stanzas.
Attila Levin: Think seeing Angelo Dundee working with this guy I get the impression it is spelled Alzheimer ... 'Hon' more a male model than pro fighter.
