And just as male midlife crisis is sometimes cured by the magical Viagra route, our young and undefeated Viloria is once again made complete when handed a pugilistic remedy for what ails in veteran Luis Doria - age 31 and on wrong side of the hill.
And so it went Viloria by KO at 1:14 of opening candle ... an immediate flurry dropped Doria ... beats the count but is quickly on the canvas again ... at this point fite halted by referee Lou Moret.
Viloria goes to 13 wins with 8 stops ... victim Doria drops to 17-9 with 10 KOs .
Post Sript:
Now, how about that semi-final bantamweight ten rounder with veteran Oscar Andrade and Hugo Ramirez ... I mean check it out ... Andrade age 29 and a resume of 29-22-1, 16 whacks facing Ramirez at 15-1, 12 stops.
So what do we have ... Ramirez maybe handed a gimme? Not a chance ... from the get-go this was a barn burner ... opening round sees Andrade testing the water ... better boxing skills gives him the edge ... then round two with Ramirez being rocked but battles back ... and so it went into number six with Andrade tossing a shutout.
Doctor checks out Ramirez between five and six ... maybe whispers to referee Jerry Cantu ... then the bell and the game but outclassed Ramirez is jolted by big left hook and fite is halted.

I know, I know, Brian the Hawaiin punch had gone three outings without a knockout ... brain trust felt he’d become pugilistically impotent ... gimme a break, the kid is only 22 years old.
Before we begin applauding the Viloria eye-catching wham-bammer of a one nite stand on the sand ... a word of caution ... in pro boxing sometimes what we think we see is really nothing more than an illusion. Other guy was chosen as being safe ... no clout in either mitten ... thus the go for broke opener for Brian baby. Jury still sequestered.
Gotta believe this Andrade was mishandled early on ... much too talented and complete a fighter to be toting around so ugly a resume ... does it all, and is clearly a young age 29 in body and spirit. As for Ramirez, the kid is a warrior with no quit anywhere in sight ... but needs better tutoring in skills department ... wild-n-wacky is what he is all about.
