Last noche’s Sho-Box co-feature to the Guerrero-Diaz NABF title fight saw welterweight Paul "Punisher" Williams continuing undefeated at 28-0 with 20 arriving via stoppage, with a round five knockout over Alfonso Sanchez who drops to 20-4-1, 18.

Williams, at 6-1" and a young age 24, was in control from the opening bell - toss in working from the port side and what we had was a showcase affair against a reputed past power puncher that at age 34 is on the down slope of a on-off career.

Sanchez did his best, and made it interesting over the first three stanzas - but come candle four a trip to the canvas, courtesy of power left hand following a flurry.

While the earlier sneak right hands found the mark for Sanchez, they also convinced his taller opponent to gamble with an inside game to complement the outside quickness.

The end arrived during stanza five at 1:12 seconds following a Williams straight left hand/right hook combination - a superb outing for the slickster from Aiken, South Carolina.

Post Scripts: Williams ~ Has the tools and accessories to become a serious member once moving up to junior middleweight - the size, speed is already established - proof in the pudding, as in legit punching power will come once entertaining more quality opposition. Definitely a name to keep handy.
Sanchez ~ Age 34, lengthy hiatus from the ring is where he’s at - opponent status at best. The modus operandi here is show me the dinero I’ll give you a couple action rounds.
