Forbes will be taken on Francisco Bojado, the bout was originally scheduled for September 15th, featuring Contender season I champion Sergio Mora  against former world champ Kassim Ouma, but that card got cancelled due to an injury suffered by main event fighter Juan Manuel Marquez. That didn't stop the efforts of the Tournament of Contenders promotional firm and Golden Boy Promotions, to put the contender fighters on different shows, and with some scrambling and phone calls, they have saved one of the fights from September 15th, the Steve Forbes vs Francisco Bojado fireworks fight.
