Ex-EBU middleweight champion ion  Amin Asikainen scored a ten round decision over Frenchman Christope Karagoz in the headliner of P3 Boxing's show tonight (October 22) in Helsinki. Russian junior  welter Dennis Shafikov stopped Frenchman Nizar Boubaker in the second round while Juho Tolppola and Aleksander Saltykov fought to a technical draw.

Randy Griffin, (24-1-3, 12 KOs), seemed to be do everything right Saturday night against WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm, (28-2-1, 12 KOs). He was aggressive, worked the full three minutes of every round and landed with effective punches in most of the rounds. Fair enough, he had problems with Sturm's tight defense, walked into a fair share of sharp counters but all in all looked like a winner at the end but got a controversial draw.
