Dmitri Sartison, 21-0, steps in for Jurgen Brahmer and fight Pablo Daniel Zamora Nieves tomorrow night in Halle an der Saale. As for why Brahmer pulled out, German media have been informed by Universum that it is because of illness in the family. The show still shapes up interestingly with the European debut of Colombian puncher Santander Silgado, 11-0 (11) as a possible highlight on the undercard. EBU light heavy champ Thomas Ulrich is the favorite against Yuri Barashian but the Ukrainian southpaw is in with a good chance against the sometimes erratic German.

The scheduled deadline for purse bids or agreement for the vacant EBU heavyweight clash between Matt Skelton and Sinan Samil Sam has been moved to March 3. Sam has a fight lined up March 14 in Munich but question is if he can go through with that depending on who will promote the Skelton fight and when.

Bild Zeitung reveals today the plans/dreams for a giant event in Berlin this fall but there are many many pieces that must fall in place. First Wladimir Klitschko must beat Sultan Ibragimov, then his brother Vitali must successfully comeback. If yes on both, we might see Wladimir Klitschko vs Alexander Povetkin and Vitali Klitschko vs the winner of Peter vs Maskaev in Berlin this fall. Possible? Well, it's not impossible, is it?

Sauerland Event will do EBU super middle champ Cristian Sanavia vs young hotshot and newly crowned EE-EU ruler Karo Murat as chief support to Sebastian Sylvester vs Javier Castillejo April 12 in Neubrandenburg. Sauerland had intended to make Sanavia vs Danish veteran Mads Larsen but it fell through, reportedly due to lack of Scandinavian TV backing.

The Hammer is gone (the sponsor) but Knockout Promotions remains and promotes along with Main Events and Warriors the IBF eliminator at cruiserweight between Tomasz Adamek and O'Neill Bell April 12 in Katowice, Poland. EBU cruiser champ Johny Jensen's defence of the title against Frenchman Jean Marc Monrose will go ahead May 3 in Marseille.

BoxingEurope, headed by Tomasz Adamek´s longtime trainer Andrei Gmitruk, will stage a show in Dzierzoniow (Poland) March 3 with super middle Piotr Wilczewski on top in a TWBA title defence.

Natascha Ragosina vs Theresa Perozzi March 15 in Magdeburg is billed as "Sieben auf einen Streich" and hints at the seven titles at stake. In supporting bouts Russian giant Evgeny Orlov will face Dirk Thielecke, who like Orlov has the bulk of his career in Muay Thai. The show also features the comeback of of another female star, Esther Schouten, from the Netherlands, who's now trained by Torsten Schmitz.

WBA, WBC and GBU bantam queen Anita Christensen defends her titles against Bulgarian Galina Ivanova March 23 in Esbjerg, Denmark.
