Harrison will be meeting this Friday night, April

These two fighters were once touted as the
next big heavyweight sensations. However, both have fallen
from that pedestal and have to go through each other to
try to climb back atop that pedestal. Dominick Guinn
is actually winless in his last three fights. He lost
to James Toney in his last fight. Before that he drew
against Friday Ahunanya and lost to current WBO champ
Sergei Lyakhovich. Guinn is looking to turn his career
back around and a win over Harrison would be the
ignition that Guinn needs.
Harrison, a very heavily touted heavyweight out of
London has been compared to Lennox Lewis his whole
career. He even followed in Lennox's footsteps when he
won Olympic gold in the 2000 Olympics as a super
heavyweight. Harrison's pro career had been really
gaining steam, until he was shocked by Danny Williams
in his last fight by split decision. Harrison is
hoping a big win on National TV on Friday night will
spin his career back forward. A win could be huge for
both fighters, but a loss could be a deathblow to
these young fighter's careers.
Friday night's co-feature that will also be
televised will showcase one of the best young
prospects around in junior middleweight Andre Berto.
Berto was a 2004 Olympian for Haiti, and was one of
the more sought after fighters coming out of the
Olympics. Berto signed with Lou DiBella, and has been
rolling thus far in his career, jumping out to a 10-0
record with 8KOs. DiBella sees Berto as an exciting
fighter with a devastating punch. Berto of Winter
Haven, Florida will have his toughest test to date when
he faces the tough Horatio Garcia of
Sacramento, California. Berto has won by KO in his last
six fights, but Garcia has been in the ring with the
likes of Antonio Margarito, Juan Carlos Rubio, Freddie
Pendleton, and Tony Lopez. Garcia comes in with a
record of 14-6-1, and will face Berto in a scheduled
eight round bout.
Three more attractive bouts will also follow on
this Goossen-Tutor promoted card. In a four round
heavyweight bout undefeated Teke Oruh of Las Vegas
will have by far the toughest test of his career when
he takes on the talented and tough Jason Gavern. Oruh
has compiled a 10-0 record with 5 KOs, but hasn't been in
the ring with a fighter like Gavern. Gavern of
Scranton, Pennsylvania comes in with a 8-1-2 record.
His only loss coming in close fashion to Malcolm Tann,
and his draw coming against undefeated Travis Walker.
Oruh will haves his hands full if he plans on staying
undefeated.
In another four round heavyweight bout, Travis
Walker of Colorado Springs will take on veteran Andrew
Greeley. Walker, a former Golden Gloves champion, will
look to improve his 15-0-1 record against Greeley, a
native of Monroe, Louisiana. Another intriguing bout
will be in the final bout of this card. In a four
round welterweight bout, Antonio Johnson of
Minneapolis, will take on Carlos Mainor of San Diego.
Both fighters are undefeated, Johnson at 3-0 with
2 KOs, and Mainor at 2-0-1.
This should be a very exciting card with the first
two mentioned fights being televised on ESPN's Friday
Night Fights. The Goossen-Tutor card will take place
this Friday at the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho
Mirage, California.
