Marco Antonio  Barrera held a Media Day in cold and icy Big Bear, (California) today. Barrera will take on World Champion Erik Morales, Saturday, November 27 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, live on HBO Pay Per View.

Here is our coverage of the event:

On his legacy...
This match will mark his legacy, and the Morales-Barrera trilogy will go down in the history books. He feels he can't leave the ring as a beaten man, and feels real strong at this weight. He has no excuses for his loss to Manny Pacquiao, only that it was a bad night, and Pacquiao is a great fighter.
Losing will not be an option when he faces Morales. He feels the loser will be forgotten by the Mexican fans, but the winner will be remembered in the same breath as other Mexican legends like Julio Cesar Chavez, Salvador Sanchez, and Ruben Olivares.

On archrival Erik
'El Terrible' Morales...
He doesn't hate Morales, in fact, he respects Morales, who he feels has a lot of heart and is a great fighter. Morales' trash talking doesn't upset him. He feels Morales is immature, and feels certain he will shut Morales up. He
will let his fists do the talking and leave the trash talking to Morales. This could be one of the great fights ever, maybe like Zarate and Zamora, said Barrera when talking about the upcoming fight.

On who has the bigger heart...
He has a bigger heart than Morales, and that will be the key to victory on the 27th.
"This fight will go down as one of the great trilogies, and losing is not an option for me. I'm coming in as the underdog, but will be leaving as a champion. This will be a battle between two Mexican warriors giving it all they got, and my heart will be the key to victory," stated Barrera. "I'm in a zone right now, only focusing on this fight, and my Mexican blood is pumping, there will be no excuses."

On life after boxing...
Barrera stated he doesn't plan on Boxing for too much longer, as he misses his son and family. He enjoys taking his son to school, and doesn't plan on missing out on that much longer.

One thing's for sure, Marco Antonio Barrera is ready for Erik Morales, and is hoping to be victorious in their rubber match. On November 27th, Barrera hopes to leave his legacy on the sport of Boxing, and a win over Erik Morales would do just that.
