Undefeated lightweight sensation Koba "Cobra" Gogoladze (15-0, 7 KO’s), has
signed an exclusive promotional agreement with DiBella Entertainment, it was
announced today by DBE president Lou DiBella.
Fighting out of Philadelphia, PA, Gogoladze will appear in the co-feature of
the fifth installment Broadway Boxing Series Presented By Mohegan Sun
on Thursday night, September 30, at the Manhattan Center (311 West 34th
Street) in New York City.
Gogoladze, an amateur prodigy, has posted a sensational 15-0 record with seven
wins by way of knockout during his five-year pro career. He has held the WBF
International Lightweight Title, and the WBO and NABO Super Featherweight
Titles.
"Koba is one of the top fighters in his weight class," said DiBella, "and we
look forward to promoting him in a championship fight. New York fight fans
will enjoy his exciting style."
The southpaw, who originally hails from the Republic of Georgia, will square
off against Marteze Logan (14-9, 2 KO’s), of Covington TN.
The Broadway Boxing cards, increasingly growing in popularity, originate from
venues in the five boroughs, the greater New York Metropolitan Tri-State area,
and Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. Mohegan Sun is the series
site sponsor. Turner Construction, HBO and Gallagher's Steak House are among
the other sponsors.
