MAYWEATHER AND HATTON PREDICT COTTO VS MOSLEY

Hitman" Hatton heavily entrenched in preparations for their own
welterweight championship showdown December 8, both undefeated
fighters took the time to weigh in on the welterweight
mega-contest between their division rivals Miguel Cotto and
Sugar Shane Mosley this Saturday, November 10th at
the "Mecca of Boxing," Madison Square Garden. The 12-round world
welterweight title fight will be produced and distributed live

SUGAR IN THE GAS TANK- MAC
vs SSM... by Chris Ackerman
The time draws near and anticipation levels are running high
for what promises to be an epic clash, with more angles than any writer could
dream of. Age versus youth, speed versus power, emotional versus methodical,
chin versus heart, experience versus…ok, enough. As much as each of these
adjectives appear to be in conflict, it’s not as though any one of them is
purely the domain of one fighter over the other. Shane is older, but not old;
Miguel has power, but Mosley has leveled his fair share of opponents; both are
warriors with all sorts of heart…the only question there is who will be called
on to prove it again this night. My guess is both.
MOSLEY - COTTO: ANOTHER
POTENTIAL BARNBURNER... by Tom Dickey
This is a fight between two belt holders in the welterweight
division. Cotto won his WBO strap back in December of 2006
when he defeated Carlos Quintana. Mosley won his WBC strap
in February of 2007 with a unanimous decision victory over
Luis Collazo. Neither man stepped aside and took a tune-up
fight, instead choosing to make this career defining fight.
Cotto is coming off the biggest win of his career, a victory
over Zab Judah; prior to that win he had beaten prospects
Carlos Quintana and Paul Malignaggi. Cotto would have been
justified had he chosen to take a tune up fight before
stepping into another big fight.
