Undefeated heavyweights clash when Chris
Arreola (23-0, 21 KOs), from Riverside, Cal., goes up against
Philadelphia's Chazz Witherspoon (23-0, 15 KOs) in the
scheduled 12-round opening bout. Both fighters stand 6'4" and
look to establish themselves as top American prospects in the
division.
In the main event,
welterweight contender Andre Berto (21-0, 18 KOs), from Winter
Haven, Fla., takes on Miki Rodriquez (29-2, 23 KOs), from
Naucalpan, Mexico, in a scheduled 12-round bout. Berto is one
of the fastest-rising stars in the division, having registered
16 knockouts in his last 17 fights. Rodriquez is also a top
prospect, with knockout victories in 12 of his last 15 fights,
and seeks to halt Berto's rise to the top.
