HOLT'S SENSATIONAL KO IS ESPN SPORTSCENTER'S #1 PLAY OF THE WEEK

Rising Junior Welterweight sensation Kendall "Rated R" Holt showed the world Friday night that he is a force to be reckoned with in the Jr. Welterweight division.  Holt's devastating one round, one punch KO of highly touted Gilberto Reyes in last Friday's co-feature on ESPN 2 Friday Night Fights not only opened up the viewers eyes, but it opened up the eyes of ESPN Sportscenter's producers.  The exciting KO was shown as Sportscenter's #1 play of the week, a rare accomplishment for a boxer.

"I just relaxed and did what comes naturally, I also thank God that Gilberto Reyes was ok after the fight" said Paterson, NJ native Holt.  Reyes was 8-1;6KOs entering the bout.

"I always knew he had tremendous natural talent, and now I'm convinced the sky's the limit for Kendall", said Lou Duva, who along with Paterson NJ's Phil Forte manages Holt.  We looked at this fight as a step up in opposition test for Kendall and he obviously passed with flying colors".

Plans for Holt's near future include a challenge to top 10 contenders in the Jr. Welterweight division.

"Kendall is in one of boxing's hottest weight divisions" and we anticipate him causing excitement and mayhem in the division for the next several years" said Dino Duva, of Duva Boxing, Holt's promoter.

Kendall Holt is now 15-0;11KOs.
