ARCE CHALLENGES MIJARES FOR HIS WBC SUPER FLYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP ON APRIL 14 AT THE ALAMODOME

 

 

            

 

            World Champions JORGE ARCE (46-3-1, Los Mochis, Mexico), and CRISTIAN MIJARES (30-3-2, Gomez Palacio, Mexico) will be facing off in a much anticipated Mexican showdown when they battle for Mijares WBC World Super Flyweight Championship on April 14 at the Alamodome. 

 

            The Mijares vs Arce, 12-round title clash will be one of four championship fights on the BLAZE OF GLORY fight card that will feature boxing superstar, Manny Pacquiao defending his WBC International Super Featherweight crown again Jorge Solis.  Former Olympian and World Champion Brian Viloria and hot prospect, Julio Cesar Chavez will also be featured on the card.

     

            Arce is not only a two-time world champion, but a very popular reality TV star in Mexico.  His exciting personality and explosive fighting style resulted in one of the year's highest ratings on HBO for his last fight.  Arce will be going for his third world title when he challenges Mijares for his coveted world title.
