LACY CATCHES WIGGINS IN CANDLE 8
|
![]() |

Lacy pressed the action throughout but the lighter punching Wiggins showed the quicker hands and more than a few viewers had the 23 year old ahead entering number eight.
Was just over the midway mark of candle eight when Lacy ripped a hurting left hook to the body ... seeing Wiggins backing to the ropes he then landed a monster overhand right that
dropped a game but finished Donnell ... enters the books as TKO at 2:33 mark.
Good win for Lacy who now deserves serious consideration with the current 168 pound title claimants.
PS: Excellent job by all competitors ... ditto work of referee Richie Davies ... also Showtime has well earned a curtsy for an action card free of any PPV stigma.
Semper fi,

Was no surprise that Jeff "Left Hook" Lacy continued unbeaten ... nor that the bout ended via the knockout route ... I mean the guy is a proven puncher ... what did raise an eyebrow or two was the job being turned in by Donnell "Cadillac" Wiggins over the first seven chapters ... he can box a bit.
