KOPYTKO BESTS COLEMAN
|
![]() |
Someone or two or three or more should answer a few questions about this affair ... first the weights ... the Ukraine dermo tipped the ivory at 166 ... Coleman, a career welter at best arrives at 156 ~ won't bother adding he's as faded as a decade old set of washed out denims.
And so it is no surprise that Kopytko showed the fresher legs and quicker hands from the southpaw stance than the older looking Coleman ... it went the full route due to the craftiness of the once promising Coleman who was never in the fight.
Kopytko showed condition and fought a busy fight from one thru ten with little concern over anything Coleman had to offer ... the dermo's punches came in pitter-patter flurries to head and body alike.
Other than an occasional sneaky right hand from Coleman his best display was defensive in nature ... the turn and weave from both inside and outside alike ... but was never a threat to the constant Ukrainian.
Scoring was unanimous with all judges having it Kopytko 99-89.
Post Script:
Coleman ~ Sad to see a once promising welter throw it away living in the fast lane ... equally sad seeing somebody making money off a long ago yesterday entity ... and who was the commission deputy that authorized the ten pounds handicap ... the teeniest ray of sunshine was that the bigger foe wasn't a banger or something serious could well have resulted.
Kopytko ~ What does the Ukraine licensed dermatologist have going for him ... tall southpaw with quick hands coupled with good condition ... and hopefully he quickly qualifies for the USA license to practice the medical profession ... for sure he's in deep muck once the big hitters arrive to truly test him.
