AUDLEY BLITZ TAKES OUT NIX

By George J. Elsasser

Didn't take long for undefeated big Brit prospect Audley Harrison to take out unranked journeyman Brian Nix in last nite's ESPN2 scheduled main event ... Audley dictated the pace from start to finis in typical style.

The Audley blitz closed the show with a furious volley of left-hand bombs at the 1:41 mark of candle 3 ... and make no mistake about it ... the left hand is certified stuff.

Last televised yankee outing it arrived behind the jab ... on this trip it began with left hand uppercuts coupled with a volley of punches ... and sequestered or not, the guess here is the jury dictates big Audley move up a rung on the pugilistic ladder.

Harrison goes to 14 wins with ten coming via knockout ... Nix drops to an ugly 18-12 and should call it a career at this juncture.

Post Script Harrison: Is definitely slated for ranked position among the top ten listings ... feelings here is a Audley-Baby Joe pairing would serve the game well ... winner goes on and loser goes home ... unless both come out looking super.

Big Audley of Olympic heavy gold medal fame has the technical skills to go with the size and left hand power ... a smooth technician with confidence suggests he'll get it done early or late as the foes become tougher.
