AN EDITORIAL VIEW: SHAME ON US By Aladdin Freeman |

For some dumb reason Tyson wanted a face off, and when he walked over to Lewis, a
bodyguard stepped in between them and the melee started. Now for some of these
media people who thought it was all Tyson's fault when it was clear he
threw a left hook at the guard who tried to grab him and then Lewis fired a
right hand at Tyson while he was entangled with the bodyguard, who is
really scared of who?
For those of you who don't know, Tyson gets up in all his opponents faces during the stare downs and it
looked like that's all that was about to happen. I think it's sad that now because of his past
history anything Tyson does, is reported. People forget that he goes back
to Brownsville, (Brooklyn), N.Y. and gives jackets to homeless people every year but
don't worry because you'll never hear about that.
For Lennox Lewis shame on him for not putting a stop to it, because his first reaction was to
back up because he thought Tyson was going to do something. Lewis now has
been in two pre-fight brawls so it's not like this was all Mike's fault.
You know it's bad when radio, TV stations and newspapers let this B.S. make
the headlines when if you stop and think about it three of the best FIGHTERS
in the world are fighting over the next two weeks but all that is paid attention to is this crap.
Shame on all the media for only bashing what Mike Tyson did in the press
conference with Lennox Lewis to promote their April 6th fight.
