It was a wild ride Friday night at The Orleans in Las Vegas. 9-0 super lightweight Miguel Cotto brought his heaviest punches to the table, belting 26-16 Juan Angel Macias and getting him to quit in the seventh.
Cotto appeared poised, strong and confident while taking apart Macias who took a lot of early-round punishment. Cotto fired some nice combinations and laid in some nice body work before Macias backed away and stopped fighting at 1:54 of the seventh round.
